All applications for the 2019-20 school year have been received and recorded. A letter to applicants will be sent on Friday, May 24, 2019.

Q - Do parents pick up students from Delta College on the days they have classes there?

  A – Yes, only on the days their student takes a class on Delta College campus> (between 2  to 4 days).

Q – Do all students take a class at Delta College?

  A – Only grades 9 thru 12 will have classes on Delta College.

Q – Do students have to reapply for VRA every year?

  A – No, once they are a student of VRA they roll over to their next grade level.

Q – Can students play sports at the local High Schools?

  A – Students are technically eligible for sports, the dual enrollment program will make it difficult to complete in CIF sports.  Students will likely be at              Delta College two to four days a week until about 4:30 to 5:00 pm.

Q - Does this program take the place of 7th grade or is it in concurrent with their 7th grade class at a Lodi school?

  A – VRA will be their school for 7th grade through 12th.

Q – How are students screened and chosen?  How many students will be enrolled?

  A – Applications are open for all students.  The first year will be 92 students

Q – Are you selecting students through lottery?

  A – Yes, if the number of applicants exceeds our capacity.

Q - What date will you be contacting parents or notifying applicants that are chosen?

  A – We will be sending written communication to families by May 24, 2019

Q – What are the class sizes?

  A – Depending on the projects/classes that students are participating in the size of the group will vary.

Q – What is the school schedule?
    A – Office Open Daily 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

  A – Students have supervision 7:45 am to 2:45 pm.

Q – Do students have AA degree upon graduation from High school?

  A – Students may leave high school with a couple options

  •  A.S. Degree in Automation/Mechatronics
  •  Certificate of Achievement in Automation/mechatronics

Q – What will the campus look like?

  A – The campus sits on the backside of the Independence and Henderson site.  

Q – Will there be any before or after school programs.  Allowing students to be dropped off early?

  A – No after school or before school programs will be offered.  There will be supervision for students from 7:45 am to 2:45 pm.
