How to Apply

Yes.  It is the parent's responsibility to arrange transportation from the site where college courses are taken.  VRA arranges transportation to the site. 

Only grades 9 - 12 will take college courses.

No, once they are a student of VRA, they roll over to their next grade level.

Students are technically eligible for sports, the dual enrollment program will make it difficult to complete in CIF sports.  Students will likely be enrolled in a college course one to two days per week. 

VRA is be their home school for Kindergarten through 12th graders enrolled in this unique program (9-12) are enrolled in college or certificate course off campus 1-2 afternoons per week).  The students are bused from Valley Robotics Academy in the afternoon to the off-site location offering the college course.  Parents are responsible for arranging transportation for pick up at the college site.  

Applications are open to all students (equal opportunity for all).  If your child has an IEP, their minutes would be cut in half, so that is something to consider.  

Not at this time!  We are growing and with that being said, we have added teachers to accomodate.

Depending on the projects/classes that students are participating in the size of the group will vary, however, the classrooms are not the typical public school size.  They average out to be approximately 25 students per class.

The Office is Open Daily 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.  Students have supervision 8:15 am to 3:00 pm. 

 Students may leave high school with a couple of options:

• A.S. or A.A. degree
• CTE certificate

The campus sits on the backside of the Independence and Henderson site.  The setting is almost park like.  There are 11 rooms (10 classrooms, 1 administration office). 

No, please be sure to pick your children up in a timely manner.  Drop off begins at 8:00 a.m.
